Midnight Curiosities

There are specific places which are ensured to be forgotten for good reasons, while others just wait as time goes by and eventually someone remembers them. At the very end of an ancient stone-paved street which has grown into a peaceful quiet place away from the chaos of modern days, there is a doll store which has been regularly locked for decades. However, a strange thing is; there are flickers of lights visible in the window of the store after midnight and mysterious movements are even seen behind the glass. Agnes Brackwood has always been one of these people to be extremely interested in such mysteries. The woman who used to work as a teacher of history and has always excelled at finding out things which many others don’t even pay attention to, can never resist steps into strange forgotten places and touching antiques. When the rumors about the empty and lonely doll shop appear, she starts her investigation. The road is brightened with the light of the moon leading her into one of the many deserted passages where she eventually ends up in the strange atmosphere of the old store. Even though there is so much dust everywhere, there are still a lot of interesting things to be found under this thick layer of it. She comes across many antique dolls and interesting photographs depicting smiling children which were left long ago along with diaries that also contained interesting activities and stories about the shop.
